Restore Hyper Wellness Adds to Its Leadership Team

Retail wellness brand welcomes technology and data leaders from CrossFit, SoulCycle and Archway Health

AUSTIN, Texas - (BUSINESS WIRE) - July 13, 2022 - Restore Hyper Wellness (Restore) announced it has appointed Jeremy Landis to Chief Product and Technology Officer, and Tony Cheng to Chief Data and Information Officer. Landis will be responsible for overseeing Restore’s technology and digital product roadmap. Cheng will be responsible for Restore’s data, analytics and information security.

“Restore is changing people’s lives by making Hyper Wellness - our approach to proactive health and wellness - affordable and accessible for everyone,” said Jim Donnelly, Restore’s CEO and Co-Founder. “Our clients come from every walk of life and visit Restore locations to feel their best, so they can do more of what they love. Investing in technology and data is the next natural progression for us to deliver the best and most effective wellness experience to our clients. We are excited to have Jeremy and Tony joining our leadership team and mission.”

Landis brings with him two decades of experience developing novel and engaging consumer technology experiences, as well as enterprise scale systems. Previously, Landis served in Chief Product and Technology Officer roles at CrossFit and SoulCycle. At SoulCycle, he led the product, design and engineering teams that delivered the SoulCycle At-Home Bike, as well as the beloved in-app feature, SoulBeat, which captures how you ride to the beat of the music and with the rhythm of the pack. Landis was also the Founder of Cainkade, a product development agency that worked with Johnson & Johnson to create a suite of software and hardware products to help patients better manage their diabetes.

“Jeremy is a truly exceptional innovator who has spent his career bringing ideas to life that have a positive impact on people's health and wellness,” said Steve Welch, Restore’s Head of Strategy and Co-Founder. “Beyond bringing exceptional talent, Jeremy brings a shared vision and a passion for delivering products that change people's lives.”

Cheng brings a wealth of experience to Restore, having delivered experiences for consumers, and solutions for healthcare payers and providers. Prior to Restore, Cheng was the Co-Founder and CTO of Archway Health Advisors, which provides analytics and risk management solutions to hospitals, physician practices, nursing homes and home health agencies, so they can succeed in Medicare value based care programs. Cheng was also the Co-Founder and CEO of Tripfilms - which became the largest online travel planning video site. In 2000, Cheng and Donnelly co-founded IgoUgo, an early and innovative travel community that won a Webby Award for Best Travel Website and became the largest user generated travel content database. IgoUgo was acquired by Travelocity/Sabre Holdings in 2005. With Restore, Cheng and Donnelly are now reuniting to deliver on Restore’s mission of making Hyper Wellness accessible and affordable.

“One of my fondest memories of my career is co-founding IgoUgo with Tony 20 years ago in our apartment in New York City,” said Donnelly. “With hardly a cent to our names, we built IgoUgo into a success. To have that come full circle and to have another opportunity to work with someone as talented and creative as Tony is a dream come true.”
