BoConcept Celebrates 70th Anniversary This Month With a Year of Ekstraordinær

NEW YORK (PRWEB) September 21, 2022 - Danish furniture franchise BoConcept, established in 1952, is celebrating its 70th anniversary this month and has been celebrating all year long. As the brand reflects on its past, it has launched a campaign looking back at the last 70 years, offering new services and highlighting the brand’s heritage, timelessness and quality.

The Year of Extraordinær campaign, which was first launched in March, recognizes a shift in zeitgeist from exclusivity and consumption to conscious buying and high-quality, long-lasting designs.

In August, the brand received the ‘Best Luxury Furniture and Homeware’ accolade at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2022. It marks the third consecutive year that the acclaimed Danish furniture maker has won the coveted annual award, now in its 14th year. Since its inception in 2008, the Luxury Lifestyle Awards has championed and celebrated the success of exceptional brands, products, and services from around the world.

To keep the momentum going, the brand’s fall launch, New Kollektion for AW22, is a manifestation of these modern values. Created in partnership with acclaimed Danish designer Morten Georgsen, the elegant fall pieces meld simplicity and sophistication.

“The fall line is one of our most impressive launches yet,” said Steen Knigge, BoConcept’s director of U.S. marketing. “We’ve taken our iconic style, which marries customizable functionality with unparalleled aesthetic craft, and elevated some of our most popular pieces while also introducing brand new items designed to meet the new ways people are living and working in their homes.”

New Kollektion for AW22 includes:

  • Princeton Lounge: A beautiful accent chair designed by Morten Georgsen. Standing out from the crowd, the light base embraces the organic-shaped back and seat, completed by a light and feminine expression. The soft comfort and the cocooning effect make this well-proportioned chair very cozy and welcoming.
  • Madrid Table: Introducing an upgraded version of the Madrid dining table, designed by Morten Georgsen. The base comes in matte black and matte white metal, and the tabletop comes in white lacquer and dark oak veneer. This way, you can create two very different looks. The clean lines and organic shapes come together in a floating design that emphasizes a visual softness.
  • Kingston Home Office: Combining workspace and storage in a perfect home office solution designed by Morten Georgsen. It features a thin metal frame with a subtle integrated drawer for storage of pens, tablets or paper. The organic shape radiates softness, while the slightly tapered and inclined legs ensure a light, Nordic expression.

As the brand continues to embrace its commitment to modularity, functionality and uncompromising quality, one of the most notable aspects of its Year of Ekstraordinær campaign is a revived focus on personalization services through BoConcept. With over 120 different fabrics and materials to choose from, buyers can partner with a stylist to develop custom pieces that will empower them to Live Ekstraordinær.
