Fast-Growing Shipley Do-Nuts Debuts At Restaurant Finance & Development Conference

First-time conference exhibitor is actively recruiting new franchisees

November 14, 2022 // Franchising.com // LAS VEGAS - Shipley Do-Nuts, makers of gourmet, made-fresh-daily do-nuts for more than 85 years, marks its debut as an exhibitor at the Restaurant Finance & Development Conference Nov. 14-16 at booth # 527.

Founded in 1936, the iconic Houston-based brand is growing fast. To date in 2022 alone, the company has signed agreements to open 92 units in Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. The company is on track to grow by more than 90% over the next five years.

“We’re exhibiting this year at the RFDC because it’s the industry’s premier event to connect with the kind of multi-unit, multi-brand franchisees who have been interested in Shipley since we were acquired by Peak Rock in 2021,” said Shipley VP of Sales and Development Luke Mandola, Jr. “This year alone, we’ve inked deals to expand into new states like Maryland, Georgia and Virginia – our momentum is incredible.”

Shipley will open its first Maryland location by year’s end and will open its first Atlanta-area and Orlando-area shops in Q1 2023.

The company is seeking financially qualified candidates with food & beverage experience, a desire to engage with their community, a commitment to being a hands-on franchise owner and a multi-location investment mentality.
