Wellness Franchise Recognizes Top Therapists in the System, Awarded Live on Stage

November 21, 2022 // Franchising.com // SAN ANTONIO - At the brand’s international franchise conference in September, Massage Heights recognized 14 of its therapists with the ‘2022 Massage Heights Therapist Award of Excellence.’ Ten massage therapists and four skincare therapists were chosen to receive this award for their commitment to living out the brand’s mission every day through elevating the lives of others.

The winning therapists were nominated by their local retreat and selected out of the more than 50 retreat nominations that were submitted. The winners were chosen to receive this prestigious award for their high level of professionalism, client service, practical abilities, and compassionate hearts. The award winners are as follows:

“Being recognized with the ‘Therapist Award of Excellence’ has been a life-changing experience,” shared Sharlene Bass, a dual-certified massage and skincare therapist from the Friendswood, TX retreat. “I know my knowledge and experience as a dual certified therapist is valued and appreciated, but now this award has taken my career to another level. I feel recognized as a team player at Massage Heights, but also within the spa industry.”

The 14 award winners, as well as all therapists in the system, were celebrated during the conference that focused on the theme, “Rise to Lead,” with content designed around leadership, team building and culture. To elevate and place an even greater focus on its therapists, Massage Heights held carefully curated educational breakouts on training technologies, aromatherapy and advanced bodywork techniques, all taught by world class massage and skincare instructors.

“We were so thrilled to recognize and meet these talented therapists,” said CG Funk, SVP of Culture and Industry Relations. “Our franchisees are passionate about sustaining a culture of care and creating work environments where people feel valued, accepted, and inspired. This program is one of many that Massage Heights has created to honor and validate the healing work of massage therapists and estheticians.”

Award winners received an award plaque, a $500 stipend check and CEU training sessions designed specifically for massage and skincare therapists.

Founded on a passion and an authentic belief that the wellness benefits of high-quality massage therapy and skincare should be accessible to everyone, Massage Heights has a history of care within its actions and culture.
