Another Top 30 Entrepreneur “Franchise 500” Ranking for Sport Clips Haircuts

January 17, 2023 // Franchising.com // GEORGETOWN, Texas -  Sport Clips Haircuts, the nation’s leading men’s and boys’ hair care provider, has again been named a top 30 franchise in the annual Entrepreneur “Franchise 500” ranking. Sport Clips has been among the esteemed ranking’s top 50 for more than a decade and is one of only two hair concepts represented in the top 30. Entrepreneur editors evaluated the key factors of financial strength and stability, size and growth, costs and fees, brand power and support in determining the annual ranking from among more than 1,300 franchise concepts.

“Sport Clips is a model that works for franchisees, clients, stylists and team members as a business ownership opportunity and local employer,” says CEO and President Edward Logan. “In some 1,900 communities and neighborhoods, you’ll find Sport Clips locations that support local and national philanthropies, host highly-skilled coaches and on-going training for team member professional development, and offer convenient, walk-in hair care services for clients.”

Jim Atkinson, VP of franchise development, adds, “This year’s ranking is special for many reasons, primarily because of the record number of franchises considered in the ranking process, and it comes at the start of Sport Clips Haircuts’ 30th anniversary year. We believe our strength and stability through the years positions Sport Clips as a prime business investment opportunity, and this top ranking is proof of our continued success.”

Sport Clips was the first hair franchise and beauty salon franchise business with a presence in all 50 states and Canada. The company is also a previously ranked Entrepreneur Franchise Top 10 Franchise for Veterans, known for its military support through its “Help A Hero” scholarship program with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), donating a record $1.55 million in 2021 toward service member and veteran scholarships, and is an active part of the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program.
