Co-Founders of Goldfish Swim School Open Their Second Corporate Location

March 02, 2023 // Franchising.com // West Bloomfield, MI - Goldfish Swim School recently opened its newest school in West Bloomfield, MI. Located at 6335 Orchard Lake Rd., the school provides swim lessons and water safety instruction to infants and children ages four months to 12 years, teaching children how to be safer in and around the water.

Goldfish Swim School – West Bloomfield is owned and operated by Goldfish Swim School co-founders Jenny McCuiston and Chris McCuiston, and Andrew McCuiston, President of Goldfish Swim School Franchising. This will be the second corporate location owned by the co-founders after opening the very first Goldfish Swim School in Birmingham, MI in 2006. Mark Biebuyck is the VP of Operations and will be running the school with the help of Gabby Rosely, who will be serving as the General Manager of Goldfish Swim School and Assistant General Manager, Alisha Anderson – West Bloomfield, MI.

Goldfish Swim School was founded by Jenny and Chris in their hometown of Birmingham, MI after they noticed a demand for high quality swim lessons in the area. Jenny is a two-time Olympic Trials Qualifier that studied early childhood development and Chris has a background in finance. They saw an opportunity to create a swim school to help kids become safer in and around the water.

Families in the community will now have access to the school’s renowned proprietary curriculum, The Science of SwimPlay®, which helps to build life skills both in and out of the water using play-based learning in a fun and safe environment. The West Bloomfield school features a pool – kept at a comfortable 90 degrees – and a viewing room nearby for families.

Each school offers swim lessons and programs using a proprietary philosophy, The Science of SwimPlay®, to build life skills both in and out of the water using play-based learning in a fun and safe environment. Each school’s number one focus and main priority is always the same – educating children on water safety while teaching them how to swim and respect the water.
