Provider of Supplemental, Enrichment Education Grows in Folsom and Roseville

Yang comes from a background working in the U.S. Department of Education in the Office of Postsecondary Education. “It was through my work with colleges and universities that I realized the importance of developing a strong foundation during the K–12 years,” said Yang. “Through franchising with Sylvan, my hope is to help students have more opportunities beyond primary school that they wouldn’t have had otherwise.”

She now lives with her husband and two children in Granite Bay near her two new territories. Like many, her children transitioned in and out of virtual learning during the pandemic, and she struggled to find supplemental education support to address their different learning gaps in one place.

“I was driving all over town from one tutor to another,” Yang said. “Sylvan is the one-stop solution I’ve been looking for all along, and I want to be that resource for other parents and their kids.”
