Merry Maids welcomes a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK owner to its network

May 12, 2023 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - Merry Maids welcomes a new franchise in Mississippi to its network. Residents of central Mississippi will be able to access a cleaning service within the residential and commercial services industry.

A TWO MEN AND ATRUCK franchise serving the Jackson, Miss., area added Merry Maids to its portfolio. Jeff Taylor, Chris Fontenot, and Jack Christopher are co-owners of the new Merry Maids location in Ridgeland, which serves Jackson and the surrounding suburbs. As part of the venture, the partners took over operations of an existing Merry Maids location in Flowood and will expand services to the entire metropolitan area.

Merry Maids and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK are both part of ServiceMaster Brands. The newly expanded Merry Maids location has seven employees.

“Cleaning and moving go hand-in-hand,” said Jeff. “There are so many synergies between these two brands that will allow us to provide a comprehensive line-up of services to our customers. We feel very fortunate to take over a Merry Maids location with a long history of service in the local community and are excited to introduce the brand to new customers in the area.”

Merry Maids of Central MS will be led by Michele Taylor and Christy Christopher. They’ll handle day-to-day operations, and Jeff Taylor noted they look forward to giving people more time to enjoy life with a trusted cleaning company to take care of their housework.

“The longevity and support offered by Merry Maids made it an ideal addition to our system,” he said. “Michele and Christy will restore balance to customers by taking care of their homes as they expand the Merry Maids footprint in the area.”

Merry Maids offers apartment and house cleaning, detailed cleaning, holiday and green cleaning, housekeeping, enhanced disinfection services, specialty cleaning, and move-in/move-out cleaning.
