Handel's Homemade Ice Cream Announces San Antonio Grand Opening May 18

SAN ANTONIO, TX, May 12, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ - Shoppers in San Antonio can rejoice! The newest Handel's Homemade Ice Cream is hitting the Shops at South Rim and is bringing ice cream on the planet to San Antonio, TX. Owners, Spencer and Emily Wolfley, are thrilled to be bringing more business into the area and creating a family-friendly environment for the community to gather and enjoy delicious homemade ice cream. The new Handel's is located at 5311 North Loop 1604 West Access Road San Antonio, Texas 78249 and will be hosting a grand opening celebration on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 11 am – 10 pm.

The first 100 guests in line will receive Free Ice Cream For a Year. The grand opening will also have face painting, a balloon artist, and other fun prizes and giveaways for guests.

"We chose Handel's because it is a great brand that focuses on making sure customers have an amazing experience through high quality, fresh made daily ice cream and great customer service," said Spencer Wolfley, Co-owner of the San Antonio Handel's. "We loved San Antonio when we had come to visit before. When we got the opportunity to open the franchise in San Antonio, we knew it would be the only place in Texas that could get us to leave the beautiful Rocky Mountains."

Before living in San Antonio, Spencer and Emily Wolfley lived in Utah with their little girls. The family is thrilled to be working with Handel's and opening a location in a bustling area. The two are looking forward to being part of the community and building a family business that their girls can be a part of.

"This location at the Shops at South Rim is a wonderful location because it is close to Six Flags, we are close to the Rim and we have some amazing co-tenants with Parry's Pizzeria, Fish City Grill, and JINYA Ramen bar. It is also super close to Top Golf and Andretti's Racing so it is easy to stop by whenever you are out for food, shopping, or visiting the local attractions," said Spencer Wolfley.

The San Antonio Handel's will feature local flavors including Black Cherry, Buckeye, Coffee Chocolate Chip, Graham Central Station, Oree-Dough, Salty Caramel Truffle, and more. The location will also offer pickup, delivery, and catering.

The San Antonio store will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
