Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Prepares for the Busy Swimming Season with Opening of Newest Location in Prairie Village, Kansas

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KAN. (PRWEB) May 15, 2023 - Aqua-Tots Swim Schools announces the opening of its 134th worldwide location in Prairie Village, Kansas. Located at 5364 W. 95th Street, on the corner of 95th Street and Nall Avenue, Aqua-Tots Prairie Village opened on Monday, May 15, 2023.

Aqua-Tots Prairie Village is the second Kansas-area location for franchise owners Mike and Keri Priest and Pietra Carrell. Upon opening the state-of-the-art facility, they will be ready to serve families in the Prairie Village, Overland Park, Shawnee, Lenexa, Leawood and Kansas City communities.

“My first experience with Aqua-Tots was when my children were in swim lessons,” said Keri Priest. “Now that they’re grown, I’m still incredibly grateful for the lifesaving skills they learned and the peace of mind these lessons brought to me. It’s an honor to offer that same experience to the families of Prairie Village.”

According to the National Institutes of Health, participation in formal swim lessons can reduce the risk of drowning by 88% among children ages one to four years old. This is increasingly important as 69% of children were not expected to be in or near a pool at the time of a drowning incident. The Aqua-Tots Swim Journey is comprised of eight levels of proven curriculum that is trusted all over the world to teach more than five million swim lessons every year.

Aqua-Tots Prairie Village is now open Monday through Saturday and offers lessons for children four months to 12 years old. Families can reserve a spot in small group (4:1 ratio), semi-private (2:1 ratio) or private (1:1 ratio) lessons before classes fill up for the busy summer season. Aqua-Tots Prairie Village also features the Special Needs Aquatic Program (S.N.A.P.) which tailors lessons to a child’s special needs and abilities.

Aqua-Tots Prairie Village is now hiring swim instructors and front desk team members. No experience is needed, and all positions include paid training.
