ManageMowed Launches Fresh Approach to Commercial Landscaping in Covington

Local Entrepreneurs Offer Full-Service Landscape Management to Property Owners in the Covington-Conyers Area

May 24, 2023 // Franchising.com // COVINGTON, Ga. - Taking care of business has never been easier for commercial property owners and facilities managers in Covington thanks to ManageMowed, a landscape management company serving businesses across the area.

With roots planted under the local ownership of Tim and Porter Ryan, a local father-and-son team, ManageMowed’s fresh approach to providing landscaping services for businesses meets the need, speed and ease for today’s on-demand economy. The brand specializes in giving businesses the curb appeal necessary to attract new customers, and make a lasting first impression.

“Porter and I are incredibly excited to be opening our new location,” said Tim. “We’ve been wanting to start a business for some time now, and ManageMowed provided a great opportunity to do so, while also improving the community. We love spending time in the outdoors with our family as well, so it really seemed like a no-brainer to open our own ManageMowed in the area.”

Local entrepreneur Tim Ryan will operate the business alongside his son, Porter. Tim has more than 30 years of experience in operations and facility strategic sourcing across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, aviation, banking and more. His experience makes him an ideal owner of the new location, which will be servicing the Covington-Conyers area, extending to Loganville, Social Circle and McDonough.

Porter will be working with his dad as the Account Manager for the location. He also has experience in landscaping through his time as an Eagle Scout. While serving as a scout, he designed and completed an 800-plus foot walking path, bordered with benches, and complete with a pergola entrance and a fire pit that connected Eastridge Church and neighboring Heard-Mixon Elementary School. His project is still used for a variety of reasons, including evacuation drills for the school, alternative parking for events and youth activities.

Offering a smarter solution to commercial landscaping, ManageMowed Covington manages client relationships as well as a network of local, owner-operator landscape vendors to ensure business properties and facilities are maintained without a hassle. The location will offer full-service landscape maintenance including lawn, beds, shrub and tree care; site inspections and assessments; property enhancements such as storm clean up, irrigation maintenance, fertilization, snow removal and other seasonal services. The business model is designed to streamline services for commercial property and facilities managers, such as self-storage businesses, gas stations, hotels, retail complexes, health care facilities, and more.

“Tim and Porter are incredible people to work with,” said Peter Roberts, co-founder of ManageMowed. “They’re wonderfully dedicated to their craft, living up to not only ManageMowed’s values, but more importantly to their community’s expectations. Their reputation and connections in Covington are sure to be an asset as they start this journey.”
