Great Clips® Announces Second Class of the Hockey Hair Hall of Fame

June 19, 2024 // Franchising.com // MINNEAPOLIS - Great Clips today announced the second class of the virtual Hockey Hair Hall of Fame as part of the brand’s annual Show Your Flow campaign. From April 17 through May 5, Great Clips encouraged hockey fans throughout the U.S. and Canada to share photos and videos of their unique and individual Hockey Hair flows on social media for the chance to be inducted.

A voting panel consisting of Matthew Tkachuk (Florida Panthers), William Karlsson (Vegas Golden Knights), gold medalist and professional women’s hockey player, Hilary Knight and Great Clips narrowed down submissions to 12 finalists based on their creativity and originality, their passion for hockey and hockey hair, and the overall quality and appeal of their content.

For the first time, Great Clips asked hockey fans to help decide the best Hockey Hair flows by voting daily at the Great Clips website.

This year’s six inductees based off the most votes include: Andrew Guthrie from Bethany, CT, Cort Mower from Lehi, UT, Drew Sernus from Worth, IL, Hank Zilinski from Blackfalds, Alberta, Jada Edwards from Grayson, GA, and Winry Schmidt from West Bloomfield, MI.

All inductees are receiving two tickets to attend an NHL game of their choice during the 2024-25 regular season, a $300 USD Great Clips gift card (or equivalent value in CAD), a $300 USD NHL Shop gift card (or equivalent value in CAD), autographed hockey pucks from NHL stars Matthew Tkachuk and William Karlsson, as well as visibility on Great Clips social and online channels.20

We look forward to immortalizing these incredible fans and their flows into the Hockey Hair Hall of Fame."
