American Freight Expanding And Looking For More Franchise Partners
Leading furniture, mattress, and appliance retailer American Freight is set to grow again with the addition of its latest new franchise operator who will add two more new locations. The brand has been busy signing new franchisees in its first full year of franchising and now has more than 360 stores open system-wide. And there’s no sign of slowing down as the brand continues searching for more franchisees and expanding its reach along the way.
John and Llaura Jenkins are seasoned franchisees with more than 15 years of franchising experience. They will operate new American Freight franchise locations in Longview, Texas and northwestern Louisiana. Their Longview location has been converted from a former company-owned store and they have an area development agreement for a location in northwestern Louisiana.
“At the end of the day, we want people to have a great customer experience,” said John and Llaura. “In our experience, that’s what makes a store successful. Establishing personal connections and earning customers’ loyalty are just as important as having a clean store and quality merchandise.”
American Freight has long had a foundational mission of selling quality furniture, mattresses, and appliances at everyday low prices while delivering excellent customer service. It’s franchisees know they can depend on the brand to provide support in every way, including operational support, training, and a proven system that is not only scalable but recession-proof.
“We’re well on our way to a strong end of our first full year of franchising,” said Will Powell, CEO of American Freight. “Single and multi-unit franchisees are taking notice of our proven model that is easy to build, quick to open and highly scalable. We’re finding they are eager to claim their territory before it’s gone.”
American Freight, which has been a subsidiary of Franchise Group, Inc. since 2020, offers franchisees exclusive opportunities in multiple-unit territories and the brand’s quick ramp-up system allows franchise ownership to be completed in as little as six weeks. The company’s leadership team leverages its more than 200 years of combined industry experience to support and advise franchisees on operations, marketing, legal, real estate and technology, and more, all so its franchisees can stay focused on running the business and achieving their dreams.
