BODYBAR Pilates Expanding Fast with Friendly, Flexible Approach to Fitness Franchising

BODYBAR Pilates, the studio franchise known for its integrative workouts that unite core Pilates principles with modern exercise training, is primed to build upon its strong growth from 2021. The brand has celebrated three openings already this year in Kansas City, Missouri; Lakewood Ranch, Florida; and Wichita, Kansas; and has several dozen additional locations in its development pipeline.

Opening the first BODYBAR location in the Midwest, Julia Rew was saw the opportunity to integrate her love of fitness into her career with her new studio in Kansas City. Julia had been looking for a workout program like BODYBAR that blends its focus on strength, toning and modern movement in a welcoming, community-centric environment.

“Being able to offer a workout that is truly for everyone is very rewarding,” said Rew. “I look forward to building our BODYBAR family in Kansas City.”

Introducing BODYBAR to Wichita residents, franchisee Kalene Hoffman is also thrilled to offer BODYBAR’s all-in-one workout to her community. Hoffman left the corporate world 15 years ago to become an independent fitness center owner and was ready to enter boutique fitness franchising after realizing the massive growth potential and popularity of Pilates.

“Having owned businesses for the past 15 years, it’s rare to find an exciting concept that has all the tools needed to hit the ground running, and BODYBAR offers just that,” said Hoffman.

Celebrating even more firsts, BODYBAR’s inaugural Florida studio recently opened in Lakewood Ranch under the ownership of local entrepreneurs Kristen and Shane Ward.

“We’re really excited to bring something new and fresh to the Lakewood Ranch market,” said Kristin Ward. “After my first pregnancy, Pilates helped me recover and regain my strength. I learned that there are people in this community who are devoted to Pilates as much as I am, so we thought that BODYBAR would be a great way to give back and connect with our neighbors.”

BODYBAR brings flexibility to members by offering 40–50-minute classes that provide a high-intensity, full-body workout that builds overall health while remaining low-impact on the body. Whether a member is 70-year-old wellness guru or a 25-year-old who is just getting started, the BODYBAR workout can be customized to meet everyone’s personal fitness goals.

Fitness fans are enjoying BODYBAR’s unique blend of Pilates principles with modern movement at these new locations, and at established locations across the country. With an executive team of current and former franchisees, BODYBAR understands the life of franchisee, and provides unwavering support as franchisees new and old grow with the brand.
