Cicis Pizza is cooking.

The iconic pizza chain continues to invest in the future as it heads into its next phase of growth as the beloved brand that invented the highly-profitable all-you-can-eat Pizza Buffet.

Cicis newly-named Chief Marketing Officer, Stephanie Hoppe, has hit the ground running, crafting a vast digital landscape that will deliver “even more exciting experiences and offerings” for Cicis’ dedicated fanbase. For Hoppe, an agile visionary and franchise veteran who joined Cicis in February of 2022, this latest role is a marketing executive’s dream come true.

Hoppe is a brand marketing powerhouse with over two decades of executive restaurant industry experience driving digital transformation, strategy optimization and revenue for various top national restaurant brands. Among them: Red Robin, Bar Louie and LYFE Kitchen. Most recently, she led marketing for the rapidly growing Wild Alaskan Company, a direct-to-consumer sustainable seafood company that is entirely technology-based.

“Her tech expertise is already paying off with fresh ideas that will elevate the Cicis experience in-restaurant and on digital platforms” said Jeff Hetsel, President and COO of Cicis. “Stephanie has done some truly incredible work with so many admirable brands and we can’t wait to see what kind of innovation she brings to our franchisees and guests,” Hetsel says. “We have no doubt that with her collaborative spirit and creative vision, she will elevate Cicis to new heights.”

Along with bolstering the executive team, Cicis recently partnered with 3Headed Monster, a Dallas-based advertising agency that will help support its brand marketing efforts. Through the partnership, Cicis will be able to better tell its brand story through inventive, creative campaigns that help grow the all-you-can-eat concept, founded in 1983.

“Now more than ever, people are ready to get out,” Hoppe says. “Cicis offers a competitive value that people haven’t heard about lately. When you walk into a store, you are greeted by friendly team members, who provide an affordable all-you-can-eat buffet where the food is hot fresh and high-quality.

With nearly 300 locations nationwide, Cicis has its sights set on rapid growth following a complete restructuring and acquisition of the company in 2021 by D&G Investors, a restaurant investment, ownership and operations team with financial muscle and a combined 60-plus years of franchise know-how.

Along with a new, more efficient restaurant design and the addition of third-party delivery and the MyCicis app, Cicis has launched three updated game room designs to allow franchisees to capitalize on the opportunity.
