World’s Leading Salon Suites Brand Signs Several Multi-Unit Franchise Agreements for 30+ Units
Phenix Salon Suites, the leading salon suites franchise turned international trailblazer, is exploding with multi-unit development, signing multiple agreements to develop 37 units in the first four months of 2022. Growing with new and existing franchisees, the brand is igniting domestic development, expanding in new and established markets from coast to coast.
The brand started off the year with impressive growth in Illinois, blowing into the Windy City with two five-unit development deals with Theresa Townsend and John Kunka.

The International Franchise Association projected Florida as a top state for franchise growth in 2022, and Phenix is continuing to enhance development throughout the Sunshine State. The brand welcomed two recent openings in Port Orange and Hialeah, both part of multi-unit development agreements with reputable entrepreneurs.
With two Phenix locations already open in Hollywood and Hialeah, Florida, seasoned Phenix franchisees, Alex Bello and Miguel Guerra have signed an additional agreement to open four more locations throughout the Florida market.
“When I was looking into my next business venture, an investment with Phenix was a simple decision considering the similarities it has operationally to managing my real estate properties,” said Alex Bello, Phenix multi-unit operator. “I liked the salon suite model and the flexibility it offered entrepreneurs. Phenix specifically had the puzzle already put together for franchisees, and I saw a great opportunity to bring more Phenix salon locations to the Southeast.”
Continuing to advance with existing operators, seasoned business investors Richard Day, Scott Vencill and Robert Aertker are adding eight more units to their network throughout California and Florida.

Phenix Salon Suites was one of the first salon suite concepts to offer luxurious, spacious suites for independent salon and lifestyle professionals to rent on a month-to-month basis and become their own boss. Built by salon expert Gina Rivera, a hairstylist for more than 25 years, she sought to create a model that provided salon professionals with the opportunity to be their own boss at a fraction of the price of opening a full-scale salon.
While no salon experience is necessary, the most successful franchisees are well-capitalized with the working knowledge of commercial real estate and general business experience.
