Twin Peaks Continues Fast-Paced Climb to New Heights

Twin Peaks is hot.

The ultimate sports lodge continues to triumph resiliently in a challenging restaurant landscape as a one-of-a-kind dining spot and winning franchise opportunity.

Loaded with momentum after a meteoric 2020, Twin Peaks triumphed in the second quarter, with same-store sales up nearly 10% above the national average. The Dallas-based brand has outperformed its competitors at every turn, ranking in the top three in the casual dining space in April and May and staking its claim among the segment’s top six restaurant chains for nine months running, according to Knapp-Track, the monthly sales and guest count tracking service.

The industry is taking note. Twin Peaks earned the No. 110 spot in the annual Top 500, the 2021 report by Nation’s Restaurant News that tracks the performance of the largest 500 chains.

In Restaurant Business magazine’s 2021 Top 500 highest-grossing restaurant chains, the brand ranked fourth in the sports bar category and No. 121 overall.

Twin Peaks simply executes its strengths better than anybody in the business, notes Joe Hummel, chief executive officer of Twin Peaks.

“I’m very proud of everything our team continues to execute day in and day out,” says Hummel. “We’ve seen tremendous growth and success in 2021 and we have much more in store for the rest of the year. With our category-defining beverage menu, scratch kitchen, wall-to-wall TVs, and incredible hospitality, we’re a brand that can’t be beat.”

With 81 locations in 25 states, development remains top-of-mind for Twin Peaks, driven by a refined and optimized conversion strategy. Franchisees are taking advantage of prime available real estate to open restaurants faster and more cost-effectively. To date, 90% of existing Twin Peaks restaurants are conversions.

With plans to open up to 12 new locations in 2021, Twin Peaks is on the move and hungry to bring its acclaimed sports viewing experience to untapped domestic and international markets.

The brand’s flurry of development includes new restaurant openings in Tempe, Arizona, Florence, Kentucky, and Bryan, Texas, and plans to expand in Mexico City, Cypress Creek, Florida; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Fargo, North Dakota; Amarillo, Texas; and the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs of Burleson and Grand Prairie, Texas.

Twin Peaks also aims to expand its reach in Florida with multiple area development agreements recently inked for restaurant development in Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and Daytona Beach, Florida, in 2022.

Not to be outdone, Twin Peaks remains committed to menu innovation. Well-known for serving up a game-changing combination of made-from-scratch food and elevated beverage offerings, the ultimate sports lodge has more delicious, house-made items in the works. Among them, new Pineapple Habanero and Bourbon Teriyaki wing sauces and, come football season, a new Spicy Meatball Skillet appetizer and Spicy Meatball Parmesan sub, both featuring house-made, all-beef meatballs topped with fresh marinara and melted mozzarella.

An all-new beverage lineup features more hand-crafted cocktails and an enhanced, one-of-a-kind exclusive bourbon experience in select locations.  Twin Peaks Brewing Co. lager, Twin Peaks Light, brewed in Irving, Texas, will also be available in locations throughout the Lone Star State.
