Grand Prize Includes Trip for Two to the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue™

CARROLLTON, Texas, Aug. 19 // PRNewswire // -- T.G.I. Friday's restaurants today announced the "Friday's® Awesome BBQ Sweepstakes" (http://www.fridays.com/sweeps) with a Grand Prize that includes a trip for two to the 20th anniversary of the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue™ in Lynchburg, Tenn.

T.G.I. Friday's restaurants are currently featuring Jack™ Championship BBQ sauce (http://www.prnewswire.com/mnr/fridays/34197/) on seven new menu items at its more than 600 U.S. restaurants. It is the actual sauce developed by Chad Hayden, last year's Grand Champion of the prestigious annual competition.

Entrants in the sweepstakes may win instant prizes, including Jack Daniel's® caps/T-shirts, T.G.I. Friday's free appetizer and dessert certificates (with the purchase of an entree), T.G.I. Friday's Restaurants Gift Cards ($5/$10) or a year's worth of T.G.I. Friday's Frozen Snacks & Meals.

First-time entrants receive a coupon for Friday's Frozen Snacks. Prospective winners can enter daily through Sept. 30, 2008, when the promotion ends. The Grand Prize winner will be announced Oct. 7, 2008.
