The new technology works seamlessly with the restaurant’s Micros POS system. KDS is important to the chain’s success for 3 reasons:

Faster serving times. Big Whiskey’s goal is to achieve ‘order-to-delivery’ turn around in 10-to-12 minutes for lunch and 15-to-18 minutes during dinner.
Eliminate ordering mistakes. Using KDS reports, incorrect orders are highlighted and corrected, reducing the high cost of re-makes and time delays.
Franchisee efficiency. As new BW franchise outlets come on line, they’ll operate with the new system giving them an immediate impact on customer retention and satisfaction as well as cost controls.
