Office Pride Recognizes Outstanding Franchise Achievements at 2017 Annual Retreat and 25th Anniversary Celebration

Franchisees, Vendors and Corporate Leadership Come Together to Reinforce Company’s Position Atop the Commercial Cleaning Industry

October 12, 2017 // Franchising.com // PALM HARBOR, Fla. - Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services’ franchisees took their business to new heights this past week as the company brought owners and home office leadership together to celebrate the past and create a vision for the future. The four-day retreat was held from Sept. 27-30 in Clearwater.

“There’s nothing like bringing Office Pride franchise partners together for a family reunion,” said Todd Hopkins, founder and CEO of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services. “I am so proud of the remarkable group of franchise partners in our system that continue to drive the growth and success of our company. Every year we look forward to coming together to share successes, discuss challenges and recognize the outstanding achievements at our annual awards dinner. This year was especially moving as the 25th anniversary - it is an honor to be surrounded by so many entrepreneurs. The future couldn’t be brighter for Office Pride.”

This year’s retreat celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Office Pride by looking back on this year’s company-wide accomplishments and challenging all attendees - franchise partners, local market team members and corporate leadership alike - to continue to exceed expectations, serve with care and operate with pride day-in and day-out. The four-day conference included extensive training, educational seminars led by leading franchisees and members of the corporate team, along with opportunities to collaborate and share best practices across the franchise system.

In order to truly celebrate the past and create a vision for the future, Office Pride hosted an incredible lineup of keynote speakers and performers.

Dr. Bill Thrasher, the first keynote speaker, has served on the faculty of Moody Bible Institute since 1980 and on the graduate school faculty since 1990, where he oversees the Master’s Program in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship. Dr. Thrasher examined what the Bible has to say about celebrating the past and clarifying the future by walking the audience through ways to bring God into your everyday business.

Simon T. Bailey, CEO of Simon T. Bailey International, a premium education company specializing in creating, learning and developing content for individuals and organizations, then took the stage to lead the group in creating platinum services with a brilliant touch. His lessons included redefining a brand as “an emotion, a connection, a perception, a moment and a memory” and how to connect with customers through the experience of working together.

The most emotional portion of the gathering was the awards dinner. Office Pride bestowed honors on top-performing office owners and their team members in attendance for sales, customer retention and superior operations over the past 12 months.

Among the traditional honorary awards came a new “Core Values” Award. Hopkins presented this award to Office Pride of Corpus Christi owners Steve and Lori Carlino and their team. Office Pride of Corpus Christi earned the recognition by exemplifying one or more of the Core Values in an exceptional way.

“We are honored to be awarded such a prestigious recognition,” said Steve, who joined Office Pride with his wife, Lori, three years ago. “Shortly after joining the Office Pride family three years ago, I was re-diagnosed with cancer. There were times I thought I would not be able to run this business anymore, but I found inspiration within Jesus and the company - from my incredible employees, to the leadership team and the other franchise partners. I am incredibly proud to be a part of the Office Pride family.”

In addition to Office Pride of Corpus Christi’s impressive recognition for “Core Values,” several other Office Pride offices also earned awards.

Additional honorees from the convention include:

  • David Stein, Office Pride of Tyler (“Integrity” Award)
  • Jason and Simon Courtney, Office Pride of Pensacola (“Franchisee of the Year” Award)
  • Mylon and Ashley Albright, Office Pride of Shelbyville/Columbus (“Rookie of the Year” Award)
  • Andre and Kerri Truitt, Office Pride of Rapid City (“Beverly McQueen - Brand Ambassador” Award)

The awards dinner concluded with an unforgettable performance from contemporary Christian musician, singer and songwriter Phil Wickham.

Hopkins wrapped up the convention Saturday morning with an incredible lesson on creating, casting and achieving vision and setting the bar for Office Pride’s next year.

Recognized as the nation’s most admired commercial cleaning company, Office Pride has added more than 18 new franchises so far in 2017, many of which were represented at the convention.
