Zoom Room Huntington Beach Expands Footprint to Meet Customer Demand

Popular Indoor Dog Gym & Training Facility Doubles Size to Welcome Additional Surf City Owners and Pets

November 29, 2017 // Franchising.com // HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - With customers barking down doors looking for a fun, safe place to play, train and socialize, Zoom Room Huntington Beach is doubling the size of its indoor dog gym and training facility. Located at 19069 Beach Blvd., Zoom Room Huntington Beach will expand to include the suite next door, offering two independent gym areas with a shared lobby and retail space.

Zoom Room Huntington Beach first opened in August 2013 and offers positive dog training in group or private classes, including agility, puppy training, obedience, therapy dog training, dog tricks, Scent Tracking, Pup-lates® among others. The location emphasizes Zoom Room’s motto, “We don’t train dogs. We train the people who love them,” providing quality exercise time between owners and their pups. Currently, the location hosts 50 to 70 classes each week, with group classes filling up four weeks in advance and private training meeting capacity six to eight weeks prior to the start date. The expansion will not only allow Zoom Room to host additional classes, but also welcome guests into the gym sooner.

“Every day guests come into the gym and ask us about growing into the space next door,” said Blane Dydasco, who owns and operates Zoom Room Huntington Beach with his fiancé, Mel Martin and father, Vince Dydasco. “We’re proud to finally take over the additional suite to provide dog training and socialization to more people and their pets and at a faster pace.”

With the expansion expected early 2018, Zoom Room Huntington Beach will span more than 5,370 sq. feet to meet the needs of Surf City’s pet community. In addition to the two gyms, the retail space will showcase a full line of eco-friendly, solution-oriented training gear, including raw and organic dog food, all-natural treats and chews, collars, leashes, harnesses and safe dog toys and puzzles.

Zoom Room’s cutting-edge curriculum focuses on deepening the bond between dog and owner, which allows people to fully understand their dog’s behavior and creates a distinctly social atmosphere. In addition to providing an array of specialty enrichment classes, Zoom Room offers expert dog agility training, which can be taught to any dog, no matter its size, age, breed or experience.
