The location is newly owned by Palm Beach local, Anique Brown, who comes from a background in social services, specifically helping those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Anique was born in Jamaica and relocated to Florida in 1990 during her childhood. Her career started at the Miami Dade County State Attorney’s Office as she helped parents struggling with child support. Most recently, she worked with Palm Beach County as a family sufficiency coordinator where she assisted disenfranchised people to get back on their feet. It has always been Anique’s goal to own her own business, and she ultimately selected BrightStar Care, as she resonated with the company values. Additionally, she was impressed that the organization is Joint Commission Accredited, which is a widely recognized organization that accredits major health care systems.
“Being involved in social services for nearly 15 years, I’m passionate about helping others in need and am extremely proud to bring BrightStar Care to Jupiter + Marin County,” said BrightStar Care franchise owner, Anique Brown. “I look forward to providing my community with the upmost quality of care for families who need it most.”
“Anique’s passion for lending a helping hand makes her an incredible addition to the BrightStar Care family,” said Shelly Sun, CEO and founder of BrightStar Care. “I know that Anique’s dedication in providing for others will benefit those in the local area who are looking for in-home care.
