Michelle Bottino Honored with Humanitarian Award at Fully Promoted World Expo Event

The event culminated with the Annual Awards Gala at which Michelle Bottino, owner of Fully Promoted St. Charles, IL received the Humanitarian Award for her dedication to the community during a very challenging year.

The Humanitarian Award recognizes franchisees who go above and beyond to serve others. "They model kindness, benevolence, and volunteerism to their fellow franchisees and her local community, and that is exactly what Michelle did this past year," said Michael Brugger, President of Fully Promoted. "Michelle has worked with community programs such as the Chamber of Commerce, Big Hearts of Fox Valley, The Lazarus House, Be a Hero to a Hero, TriCity Family Services, and The Chicago Dental Society Foundation to name a few. She offered first responders free personal protection when it was hard to come by. She truly is a shining star giving up her time when others are in need helping many people along the way."

Bottino opened her Fully Promoted store in 2018 and has demonstrated leadership, dedication and true compassion and empathy for her community, especially this past year. One of the many ways Bottino helped her community was when the Governor of Illinois was unable to find supplies for medical staff. Bottino immediately connected with Fully Promoted vendors and was able to source 500,000 goggles for Illinois medical workers.

"I'm truly honored to be the recipient of the Humanitarian Award," said Bottino. "As I reflect on what this award means, I think about the reason I wanted to have my own business. I wanted to do something meaningful and something that would help my community. In the height of the pandemic, when I didn't sleep for what felt like months on end, I wasn't thinking about anything else but helping people. It was non-stop. When I tell people about it, it sounds insane, but it made sense to me and I'm glad that I was able to help the community when they needed it most."
