Hounds Town USA Opens First Louisiana Location in Jefferson

Hounds Town USA, the daycare and boarding concept where everything they do is for the dogs, announced today the opening of its newest location in Jefferson. The new location is conveniently situated near the neighborhood’s pet supplies store at 8412 Jefferson Highway and a short drive from New Orleans. The new Hounds Town is owned and operated by Kurt & Jennifer Fehrenbach and will officially open on June 17.

“Jennifer and I wanted to start a business venture together as a couple and being dog lovers, we knew working with animals would be a bonus,” said Kurt Fehrenbach. “After seeing an ad for Hounds Town, we were both impressed with the brand and its business model.”

Kurt has an extensive background of over 37 years in the electronics industry, while Jennifer spent over 30 years building an impressive career within her family’s warehouse business. They will both be heavily involved with daily operations of their Hounds Town location, alongside trusted manager Darby Russo, who has worked with the couple in a previous venture. Within both their personal and professional lives, the Fehrenbach’s value giveback efforts and are members of the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce.
