The doggy day care offers animal lovers a path to pet care careers

June 21, 2023 // Franchising.com // WESTMINSTER, Colo. - As many recent graduates look for summer jobs and the demand for pet care increases with the rise of summer travel, Camp Bow Wow locations across North America have open positions to give dog lovers a chance to turn their passion into a career.

Camp Bow Wow®, North America’s largest doggy day care and boarding franchise, has over 3,000 employees across all individually owned and operated locations and provides applicants with a place to start their careers in animal care.

Entry-level positions include Camp Counselor, which offers extensive training in dog behavior and providing a safe, fun place for dogs to stay and play. Camp Counselors are also certified in pet first aid and CPR. Camp Counselors assist with animal care, cleaning, play yard monitoring and one-on-one enrichment, while enjoying the perk of interacting with dogs all day and delivering the brand’s mission of Making Dogs Happy.
