PayMore Electronics Franchise Deal, Inking 25 Units for Michigan

August 24, 2023 // Franchising.com // NEW YORK - PayMore today announced its entrance into Michigan with a strategic, 25-unit deal to establish a presence within the Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo areas.

Michigan franchisee Volt Resale is a collaborative entity from leaders of Kava Restaurants, a Tim Hortons and Cold Stone Creamery franchisee, and principals of the Dillon Kane Group (DKG), a Chicago based investment firm. Volt Resale’s leadership team is comprised of Tom Reedy, Steve Williams, Tony Pervan, Larry Neems and Bobby Reedy. These experienced professionals represent a unique meld of technology, finance, consulting and marketing expertise with a skilled operational leadership team with over 100 cumulative years of restaurant and retail experience.

With $650 billion worth of unused tech in U.S. homes, Volt Resale recognized the potential for growth in the electronics buy, sell and trade sector and identified PayMore as the ideal partner.

Tom Reedy is a Senior Managing Partner at DKG, in addition to serving as CEO of Kava Restaurants and Volt Resale. Tom Reedy’s early career experience as an auditor for McDonald’s led to a lifelong passion for the franchise industry. Partnering with Williams in 2017, they founded Kava Restaurants, which was at one time the largest franchisee of Tim Hortons globally. Williams serves as COO of Kava and has an extensive background in operations, serving in key leadership roles spanning multiple decades at renowned brands such as Einstein Bros. Bagels, Boston Market and Jamba Juice.

Volt Resale is supported by the distinguished financial experts and technologists at DKG, led by Pervan as CFO and Neems as Controller. The experienced team’s addition to the PayMore group is a significant boost.

PayMore is both an e-commerce and brick and mortar electronics resale shop offering consumers late generation smartphones, gaming systems, tablets, and other tech gadgets.
