Local Community Can Now Access Supplemental, Enrichment Education Services For Students Grades K-12

Sylvan Learning Rock Hill is locally owned by Nancy and Joe Shrewsbury. After 20 years as an educator, Nancy is excited to venture into franchise ownership with her husband Joe, an experienced data and business intelligence analyst with an MBA. The duo plans to put their experiences together to bring the center to life.

“Although I’m sunsetting my career as a teacher, I’m reinvesting my time and energy into something I truly love outside of the classroom,” said Nancy. “Our goal is to be a resource for students in the community, no matter where they are in their educational journey.”

Sylvan Learning serves as a resource for students as they work to recover from pandemic-related learning loss. Sylvan’s proven tutoring approach and advanced technology-based curriculum are designed to give each student a personalized, trackable plan to achieve their educational goals.
