This November, Dog Haus Gives Thanks With Würst Thanksgiving Sausage & Peach Maple Smas

October 25, 2023 // Franchising.com // PASADENA, Calif. - This November, Dog Haus is packing a Thanksgiving feast's flavor into the latest addition to its Absolute Würst Sausage Series. The brand new, one-of-a-kind Würst Thanksgiving Sausage offers the perfect mix of turkey and all the trimmings in every bite so that guests can enjoy the taste of a full holiday spread in every bite. On top of that, they’re introducing the Peach Maple Smash, an artisanal cocktail that also highlights classic American flavors.

Straight from Dog Haus’ kitchens, the Würst Thanksgiving Sausage, created by Dog Haus’ Würstmacher Adam Gertler, features turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberries, stuffing, sage, thyme, rosemary and a hint of maple. Like everything on the Dog Haus menu, this new würst can be customized for any palate. Sausage lovers can enjoy their Würst Thanksgiving Sausage four ways:

  • Würst Way - with American cheese, arugula, cranberry aioli, turkey gravy, crispy onions and scallions; served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • Corn Dog Way - root beer-battered, served with a side of turkey gravy
  • Breakfast Way - with three sunny-side-up eggs, American cheese, caramelized onions, crispy fried onions, sweet potato fries, spicy mayo, turkey gravy and scallions; wrapped burrito-style in a grilled flour tortilla
  • Your Way - loaded with any mix of Dog Haus toppings on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls

Every Turkey Day deserves a toast, so celebrity mixologist Phil Wills has created a new cocktail to accompany Dog Haus’ Würst Thanksgiving Sausage at its Biergarten locations. The Dog Haus Peach Maple Smash features whiskey, peach puree, lemon juice, maple syrup and mint leaves. Like the Würst Thanksgiving Sausage sausage, this specialty cocktail will be available starting Nov. 1st. For beer lovers, Dog Haus’ culinary team recommends pairing the Würst Thanksgiving Sausage with a malty amber or brown ale, which are available year-round at Dog Haus locations nationwide.

“Dog Haus has always been about sharing great food with friends and family,” said Founding Partner Hagop Giragossian, “which is why so many people host Friendsgivings at Dog Haus each year. Our guests love sharing great meals and creating lasting memories in our casual and welcoming environment knowing they’re giving back to the community while having fun.”

As with every sausage introduced to the Absolute Würst Sausage Series, Dog Haus will donate $1 from the purchase of each Würst Thanksgiving Sausage to its national charity partner, No Kid Hungry. This marks the eighth sausage in the series, and to-date, this charitable collaboration has helped No Kid Hungry provide more than 3.5 million meals for children in need, illustrating the brand’s unwavering commitment to help eradicate hunger. In the spirit of the season of giving, Dog Haus will also donate $1 to No Kid Hungry from each Peach Maple Smash sold in November.
