Dena vonWerssowetz Appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Firehouse Subs® U.S. & Canada

October 26, 2023 // Franchising.com // JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Firehouse Subs® announced Dena vonWerssowetz will join the brand as Chief Marketing Officer, beginning Nov. 6. vonWerssowetz will be accountable for leading marketing efforts to help grow the brand nationally and introduce new guests to the brand’s hearty and flavorful food, heartfelt service and public safety mission that’s core to all efforts.

“Dena brings deep brand expertise at a time where we are building the foundation for growth,” said Mike Hancock, President of Firehouse Subs, US & Canada. “As we look to continue to increase our presence in North America, we’re excited for Dena’s fresh perspective and creativity in getting our messages to guests throughout the region.”

vonWerssowetz joins the brand following 14 years with PepsiCo, where she most recently led the portfolio transformation and innovation for the international beverages division. During her tenure, Dena led marketing strategies and roadmaps across various categories including: food service, sports and partnerships, and for some of the Pepsi’s brands.
