Slim Chickens Expands With Third Location in New Mexico

January 03, 2024 // Franchising.com // RIO RANCHO, NM - Slim Chickens announced today its new restaurant opening in Rio Rancho, New Mexico located at 1909 Wellspring Ave, 87124. Spearheaded by established multi-unit operator, Desert Slims, this is the group’s second Slims opening.

“Our new location in Rio Rancho is a big milestone for us and our partnership with Desert Slims as we share our southern hospitality and quality cooked-to-order chicken tenders with more residents in New Mexico,” said Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens. “With this being the third location in the state, we are thrilled to see how Desert Slims continues to grow our reputation.”

Slim Chickens offers high-quality food and 17 house-made dipping sauces, allowing customers to enjoy a different flavor profile with each visit. Its menu is broader than many in the segment, offering chicken tenders, fresh salads, sandwiches, chicken and waffles, chicken wings, and unique side items.
