Joshua Tree Experts Expands in Keystone State With Father/Son Team

March 04, 2024 // Franchising.com // PITTSBURGH, Penn. - Joshua Tree Experts is expanding its footprint nationwide. Father-and-son team Seth and Caleb Hill will begin enhancing landscapes in Cranberry Township, Pittsburgh, and New Castle, Pennsylvania, in March.

Seth and Caleb are adding two units to the brand’s portfolio, servicing Butler, Lawrence, and Allegheny counties. Seth joins the franchise industry with 20 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, with a focus on product development. His son Caleb previously served in the National Guard and was deployed to Iraq for nearly a year. While deployed, Caleb formed a friendship with Dylan, the nephew of Joshua Tree Experts CEO Josh Malik. Through this connection, Caleb was introduced to the franchise concept, offering a significant opportunity for his family’s future.

“Meeting Dylan during my deployment felt like fate,” said Caleb Hill. “I’ve been researching businesses to start with my father, and becoming franchise owners with Joshua Tree Experts feels like the perfect fit.”

The Hills are excited to begin their journey as entrepreneurs while also receiving support from a successful franchise network. Caleb will spearhead the operational aspects of the franchise, while Seth will leverage his experience to drive sales. Both of their wives will assist with administrative tasks once the business is in operation. It will truly be a family operation.

“I’ve always dreamed of opening a business with my son,” said Seth Hill. “Coming from a family with a strong hands-on background in farming, we are ready to hit the ground running.”
