Zaxby's Opens Newest Restaurant in St. Johns, Florida on April 15

April 10, 2024 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - Zaxby's® is opening its newest location in St. Johns, Florida at 85 Tylers Wy. The new Zaxby's, owned and operated by Contentment Fountains, LLC, will be open for both drive-thru and dine-in beginning on Monday, April 15.

“As residents of St. Johns County, we are excited to open this new restaurant and look forward to serving Zaxby’s fresh, high-quality food,” said David Matthew Strickland, owner of Contentment Fountains, LLC. “We aim to contribute to this great community by bringing new employment opportunities and hope to partner with schools in the area for weekly spirit nights.”

The new restaurant can accommodate up to 56 guests inside its dining room and features Zaxby’s classic white farmhouse exterior design. The restaurant is equipped with a double drive-through and a large drive-through canopy to streamline the outside ordering process and provide fast, top-tier to-go service.

Zaxby's serves fresh, prepared-at-order Chicken Fingerz™ and wings tossed in a variety of bold and spicy sauces. The menu also features Zaxby’s famous Signature Sandwich, its wildly popular Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries and the brand's fan-favorite Fried Pickles.

Most recently, Zaxby’s added Southern Fried Shrimp* as its latest limited time offer (LTO) to its menu. After 30+ years of perfecting chicken, featuring seafood on its menu is a first for the Georgia-based brand. Zaxby’s Southern Fried Shrimp comes as a meal or as a standalone side paired with Zaxtail Sauce, Zaxby’s newest delicious addition to its acclaimed “saucefolio” of 12 signature sauces.

For the new St. Johns location, Strickland and Contentment Fountaintains LLC contracted Atlantic Beach-based Kaneco Construction. The new restaurant brings new employment opportunities to the community. In February, Strickland also opened the neighboring Zaxby’s in Murabella near World Golf Village.
