Farmer Boys® in Riverside Welcomes New Ownership With Founder’s Son

April 26, 2024 // Franchising.com // RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Farmer Boys® announced the recent acquisition of an existing restaurant situated at 2000 E. Alessandro Blvd with Spiros Havadjias, a son of one of the founders.

Closely tied to the roots of Farmer Boys®, Spiros Havadjias has been involved with his family’s brand since he was young, as his father is one of five brothers within the Havadjias family who’ve cultivated the brand over the last four decades. Since graduating from USC in 2022, Spiros was eager to elevate the family business.

Beyond his personal connection to the brand, Spiros is armed with a wide range of business strategy experience and is eager to translate those skills into this new venture with his family’s brand as he aims to help elevate the brand to new levels.

“Farmer Boys® is truly a special concept and I’m thrilled to continue playing a part in its growth,” said Spiros. “Our brand has impacted countless communities over the decades and I carry a deep sense of pride in playing such a crucial role in the family business. I’m eager to uphold our legacy of exceptional service and farm-fresh food, ensuring that each guest experience is nothing short of extraordinary."

“The Havadjias brothers have devoted much of their lives to the growth and development of Farmer Boys and I know that Spiros will follow in their footsteps,” said John Lucas, VP of Brand and Franchise Development at Farmer Boys®.

The brand’s menu features a range of items that are made fresh-to-order including burgers, breakfast options, salads, sandwiches and more, all made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
