Effectively merging two world class organizations in less than a year’s time is no easy feat, but combining industry-leading franchise brands with dedicated teams creates the perfect formula for rebranding success.

Enter, Empower Brands

In September 2021, LYNX Franchising purchased Outdoor Living Brands in an effort to expand the organization’s services from strictly commercial offerings to premium residential services. The acquisition was a success, but like with all things, people need unity and a common goal to succeed.

Leadership from both organizations put their heads together to determine what the next best steps were to propel the brands forward and create maximum success and opportunity for their franchise owners. It became clear that the organizations needed one unified identity with a common mission, vision and values.

Come November 2022, LYNX Franchising and Outdoor Living Brands fully integrated to form Empower Brands, the next industry-leading, multi-brand franchisor in the residential and commercial services space. Now all under the newly formed parent company’s umbrella are JAN-PRO, Intelligent Office, FRSTeam, Archadeck Outdoor Living, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, Conserva Irrigation and Superior Fence and Rail.

Designed to empower its franchise owners and champion their success, Empower Brands is dedicated to providing its customers with the highest quality products and services in the commercial and home services industry while simultaneously delivering its franchise owners committed personal support, tools and empowerment to pursue their own success.

Since its rebrand, Empower Brands closed the year out surpassing $1 billion in systemwide sales, set a record-breaking year in sales for each individual brand, made several new leadership hires, and celebrated the inclusion of five of its brands in this year’s prestigious Franchise 500 ranking from Entrepreneur magazine.

The Future of Empower Brands

Empower Brands’ number one goal is to grow its portfolio and its network. With sights set on lofty 2023 goals, Empower Brands is aggressively looking to acquire new brands to add to its roster, reaching 10 or more brands by the close of this year, all while empowering its current brands and dedicated franchise owners. This year will be pivotal for Empower Brands, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.
